Standard lip glosses use heavy waxes and mineral oils that create that thick, tacky, hair-sticking feeling. The Fruity Glass Tint is built on a different base:
Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2: A polyester-based emollient used in professional-grade long-wear lip formulas for its film-forming properties. Creates a flexible, smooth coat that holds color and shine without feeling heavy or pulling — the primary reason the formula doesn't migrate or feel sticky.
Diisostearyl Malate: A malic acid ester emollient used in K-beauty formulas for its glide, shine amplification, and zero-tacky finish. Together with Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, it creates the second-skin feel.
Squalane + Glycerin: Squalane mirrors the skin's own sebum for smooth glide and moisture retention; Glycerin is a humectant that keeps lips soft and plump during wear.
Why the Color Stays After the Shine
The tint comes from water-soluble dye molecules that bond with the outer layer of lip cells — these aren't pigments that sit on the surface, they stain. The clear Pearl Gloss uses an entirely different base — no water, no dyes. Built on Hydrogenated Polyisobutene with Menthyl Lactate (a cooling, plumping sensation) and Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate (glass-effect shimmer particles). Use alone for pure glass shine, or layer over any tinted shade to amplify glow and add subtle sparkle.
How to Use
Apply directly from center outward using the doe-foot applicator. Layer for deeper color, or dab with fingertip for a diffused, blurred stain. Lightly dab on cheeks over foundation for a matching glossy flush. Layer #00 Pearl Gloss over any shade for amplified shine and subtle sparkle.
Pro Tip: Apply to bare lips first, let sit for 30 seconds to allow staining, then re-apply for shine. The stain layer underneath holds color even when the top gloss softens.
